Join our hands-on knife-making class, led by a bladesmith with over 30 years of experience. You'll learn the craft of forging and sharpening a knife from raw materials and take home your very own handcrafted creation.

Class Details:
When: First Saturday of every month from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Where: Our shop in Boatman, OK, just 10 minutes from Salina and 20 minutes from Pryor.
Price: $500 per participant (includes all materials, tools, coffee, and drinking water).

Limited Availability:
We offer small class sizes to ensure each participant receives personalized instruction. Spaces are limited, so sign up early to secure your spot!

Important Information:
- Classes take place on the 1st Saturday of every month.
- Ages: Class is suitable for ages 14 and up. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian throughout the entire class.
- Participants or legal guardians of participants must sign a waiver release form before starting the class.

No experience is required! Our patient instructors will guide you every step of the way, ensuring you feel confident and empowered throughout the process. All materials and tools are provided.
Small Class Size, Personalized Attention:
With a maximum of 3 participants per class, you'll receive personalized instruction and guidance from our two experienced bladesmiths. This ensures that you get the individual attention and support you need to succeed in crafting your own knife.

Schedule:
9:00 AM - 10:30 AM:
- Introduction to blacksmithing and safety guidelines

- Demonstration of forging techniques

- Hands-on forging: shaping the blade

10:30 AM - 12:00 PM:
- Refining the blade shape and profile
- Preparing the blades for heat treating

12:00 PM - 1:30 PM:
- Lunch
- Tempering & Discussion:

Blades will be heat-treated and tempered during this time. Enjoy a relaxing lunch break and engage in discussions about various aspects of bladesmithing while the magic happens! Please bring your own lunch.

1:30 PM - 7:00 PM:
- Grinding and sharpening the blade
- Handle shaping and attachment
- Final finishing and Q&A session

Refreshments:
Coffee, tea, soft drinks, and light refreshments will be provided free of charge throughout the day.
