Ever wondered what it's like to forge your own knife? Join our hands-on knife-making class, led by a bladesmith with over 30 years of experience! You'll learn the craft of forging and sharpening a knife from raw materials and take home your very own handcrafted creation.

What You'll Learn:

Workshop Details:

• When: Classes take place every Saturday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Where: Our shop in Boatman, OK (10 minutes from Salina, 20 minutes from Pryor)
• Price: $350/ per person (includes all materials, tools, coffee, soft drinks and drinking water)
• Ages: Suitable for 14 and up (minors must be accompanied by an adult)

Schedule:

• 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM: Introduction to blacksmithing, safety guidelines, forging demonstration, hands-on forging.
• 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM: Refining the blade shape, preparing for heat treating.
• 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM: Lunch break (please bring your own), tempering, bladesmithing discussion.
• 1:30 PM - 7:00 PM: Blade grinding and sharpening, handle shaping and attachment, final finishing, Q&A.
